Avalon Airshow

Avalon 2023 is the Australian International Airshow, also known as the Avalon Airshow, held biennially at Avalon Airport in Geelong, Victoria. This year’s event will take place from 28 February to 5 March, and will be the first event since 2019. One of the highlights of the event is the Kids are free to attend for the first time – 15 years and under policy. Parking is also free for visitors. The event will kick off with the Friday Night Alight, featuring night aerobatics and a laser show.

What is the Avalon Airshow?

The event comprises of two sides – Avalon and Airshow. Avalon is the Australian International Aerospace & Defence Exposition, also known as the Avalon Airshow, a major trade exposition for Australia’s aviation, aerospace and defence industries, typically attracting some 660+ participating exhibitor companies showcasing their products, services and technologies to a national and international audience. Companies from around the world will be in attendance to showcase new technologies, aircraft and other defence systems. How many days does it go for?

The Airshow is a three-day, action-packed public spectacular with breathtaking public flying displays and an amazing array of static aircraft to view up close.
